Breakfast at the hotel visit to the Egyptian museum where 100.000 pieces dating from 4000 years are exhibited including the treasure of king Tutankhamon. Continue visit to Giza to see the Pyramids. Enjoy a camel ride before seeing the solar boat, the oldest known ship in the world which was buried for 4800 years and uncovered in 1954.tand in awe at the magnificent Sphinx carved out of a single piece of stone, guarding the Giza plateau. Return back to the hotel & overnight.

Morning tour to the citadel of Saladin and the 12th century alabaster Mosque of Mohammed Ali with its lovely minarets and cupolas. Continue to old Cairo to visit the recently restored century, old Ben Ezra Synagogue and the first Churches of Christian St. Serguis, St. George and St. Mary's. Return back to the hotel. Afternoon free.

Early morning flight from Cairo to Luxor. Upon arrival transfer to the cruise boat for 5 days/ 4 nights cruise. After lunch visit the avenue of the Sphinxes and the imposing temple of Luxor with its grand colonnades standing alone in the heart of town. Continue to the vast Karnak temple complex, built by the Pharaohs over 2000-year period.

Start morning tour to visit the valley of the Kings and the secretive tombs of New Kingdom pharaohs. Visit the valley of the queens and the beautifully terraced temple of Hatshepsut, the temple is one of the most brilliant creations in the history of architecture. Then finally the famed colossi of Memnon, standing nearly 70 feet tall. The ship sails to Edfu.

In Edfu, travel by horse-drawn carriage to the temple of Horus. The best preserved of all large Egyptian temples. In the afternoon, arrive in Kom Ombo a hill town overlooking the banks of the Nile, visit the Greco-Roman temple of Kom Ombo dedicated to Horus, the sun god and Sobec, the crocodile god. Continue the cruise to Aswan & overnight.

Morning visit to the Aswan high dam and the nearly granite quarries, view the gigantic unfinished Obelisk where you will be explained how the immense stones were hewn from the quarries by hand and then transported to the temple sites for construction of many Egyptian monuments. Continue by motorboat to the beautiful island of Philae to see the exquisite, gleaming white temple of Isis . After lunch, sail on a typical Egyptian " Felucca" - sail boat - which glides along the Nile, passing Elephantine Island, Lord Kitchener's Botanical garden and the dramatic white Agha-Khan Mausoleum. Overnight in Aswan.

Disembarkation after breakfast. Transfer to Aswan airport to take flight to Cairo. Arrival Cairo, meet & transfer to your hotel. Overnight at hotel.

After breakfast transfer to the airport for final departure.
